Winners of SYC Big November Contest

So finally after a long wait, I am out with the results of the competition. In all there were 47 Entrants who got 333 entries into the contest. That’s almost 7 entries per contestant. One contestant managed to get 51 entries into the contest. So now…after the figures let’s check the prize distribution something which I did not revealed when the contest started. New Feature Launched

Yes, this is a short post notifying that We have launched a new feature which you may not find in any other Contest blog and this will differentiate us from others. We will now display a Time Left for the contest to end in every contest where we are supplied with exact date and time for the contest deadline. This countdown will be same since for every Time Zone since we will count time left from contest holder’s Time Zone not your Time Zone.

So Make sure your contests have deadlines exact upto date and time, so that we will display exact time left for any contest to end. This has been done since due to lack of time sometimes I may be delayed in removing Closed Contests from Open Contests Category. So this time left feature will always tell you whether the contest is still open for you or not and will also inform you if the contest has closed or not irrespective of category where its placed.

For those people who don’t visit the contest post regularly for updates here are few updates:

Rules Update:

Previous Email Subscribers are entered into contest automatically with single entries
Sponsors can also join the contest
Pls comment at the comment form with all your entries so that I come to know about it.
If winners don’t respond to emails within 4 days, another winner will be chosen when contest closes.
No More Sponsors will be entered and this is final. Don’t contact me with sponsorships. I had given you 11 days earlier.

Contest Update:

As of now I have 23 Entrants with 54 Entries now. Cool..never expected this. But most of entrants are previous email subscribers.

Opening Comments

I have finally give it another thought and enabled Comments on my blog. Do you think it will benefit the blog a bit more. I think, opening comments will add some discussions to the contests. Plus since I have a upcoming contest, so people will find it much easier to respond via comments than via contact form. Plus the communication via comments is secure and faster than responding to each email. What are your thoughts?

I am yet to enable some comment only features. What features do you think I should enable?

Update: I have enabled Top Commentators working from footer and enabled Recent Comments in the Sidebar.
